Bélgica regresa a una semifinal de un Mundial al imponerse este viernes, en el segundo encuentro de cuartos de final de Rusia 2018, a Brasil (1-2), a la que aleja de su sueño de ganar el sexto título de la historia.

Los ‘diablos rojos’, que alcanzaron dicha ronda en México’86, sellaron su triunfo con un autogol de Fernandinho a los 13 minutos y un tanto de Kevin De Bruyne a los 31.

Brasil reaccionó tras el descanso en busca de la remontada, pero tan solo pudo acortar distancias merced a un certero remate de cabeza de Renato Augusto a pase de Philippe Coutinho (m.76).

Bélgica se enfrentará a Francia, verdugo previamente de Uruguay (2-0), el próximo martes en San Petersburgo (21.00 hora local/18.00 GMT).
